That EXACTLY correct ... changing the name CUSIP or anything like that DOES NOT force a short to cover. That is an internal function of the TA and the company as long as the stock sets in an account it can be shorted.. The only way to do a short trap is to pull your stock OUT of an account forcing the short to cover the position ON THAT ACCOUNT ONLY which is why it takes so long. Also when you do that you cannot trade it while enroute for 3-6 weeks.

I will no longer be a part of a so called short trap PERIOD. and all this crap on what MMs will have to do is crap period. How many touted short traps have ever happened? I am still ticked out about EUTO and others but I did learn a HECK of a lot. I know I supported EUTO and it is a good stock BUT I AM NEVER BEING PART A SHORT TOUTED TRAP AGAIN. Fundamentals and what not are the ONLY way I am going to go long on a stock ever.

I want to know as much as possible about the contracts coming in and so forth. Financing and if they have the resources to keep the doors open with using the stock as a financial vessel.

As for Momentums I shall keep my mouth shut and just trade them. I also find it amazing the bear is signed up and the stock gets a few buyers and the next day it falls. I figured that much since the foundation for this stock is slam loaded with momentum traders.
