Fox News is no friend of the Republican party as they get their audience by giving air time to the most extreme views. He is right that polls this far out from the election are pretty meaningless, just inside baseball.

I have given the Republicans the formulae they need to be competitive, but they just don't take my advice. Surely they could find a mime willing to run.

Watching the Republican Clown Bus careen down the highway, however, is great fun.
