I think it was a combination of bad yield and prices reductions forced
by Intel ... AMD might be able to fix the yield problem, but they don't
control the pricing. AMD's .35um K6 is now priced near manufacturing costs ...
this means that AMD will never make money on this product. Their only
hope is to move to .25um and not repeated the failures of .35um.
