My wife stayed in a yurt in Tuolumne Meadows years ago.
And stayed in similar structures in Africa about 10-12 years ago.

The gals (mostly school teachers) are from a S Cal hiking club that she has been a member of for over 30 years.

They still get together occasionally. They had a luncheon in LA about a month+ ago.

Our property is zoned for one more residence and we considered a yurt or a guest house....but I told her one of my kids may move in. That ended that idea.
