The key is to have the wine protected from "baking in the sun" while transporting them. There are a number of Styrofoam cases that will help insulate the wine, so if the bottles are cold before packed and then the truck doesn't take more than a day to get there, you'll likely be just fine. Cold transportation is ideal either in an air-conditioned vehicle or truck.
