Unless you love to babysit your grand children and their friends, take my advise and don't put the yurt on the property. We moved up to the mts a yr ago, have a cabin (and Dusty....see header) down on the river and a large RV up here at the house (1/2 block away from the river) on high ground, and our kids come up from the city almost every weekend to stay and play. Of course they want to go fishing or hiking or out to dinner, and grandma and grandpa have a hard time saying no, so we end up doing a lot of babysitting. gg

Our property is zoned for one more residence and we considered a yurt or a guest house....but I told her one of my kids may move in. That ended that idea.
