Of course the Oil and Gas industry advocates. The point is very simple. A focus on "subsidies" that ignores the other side of the equation - taxes paid - is not a balanced discussion. A balanced discussion would also include taxes not paid by solar energy producers or users.

Here is a real world example.

Eventually math and science will rule the day. Science will reduce costs and math will dictate source selection. If the solar numbers are as advertised - hey - the only CO2 will be from hot air posters and politicians. I note - here where there are four seasons and cloudy days - there are essentially no solar panels.
But hey - we have water. Y'all come if your business needs water.
