Got a contract, 1% below ask, 4 days before it was supposed to go on market. Painters here, all the crap off the walls, the place a mess. So much for "staging". Highest sale per square foot in the 'hood, if everything works. Inspection tomorrow, after contract agreementt at 5PM! Maybe this is not typical in Florida. We do have the best rated schools. They want to close August 17... we gotta go to and negotiate a place in NC, arrange moving, all that involves. I thought retirement was supposed to be easy? Ugh. Stress.
