Thanks Richard, I found 'cross', and the formula works perfectly. All I was saying about the OBV problem is I have the formula set for a buy signal only when the OBV is greater than the 40dy MA. Yet when I make system tests, occasionally it flags a buy incorrectly. The OBV is being shown on the chart is easily seen to be LESS than the 40dy MA. It's shouldn't have signaled. Why? Chris
