Here ara few founding fathers thoughts on Christianity. One thing is for certain, they did not want religion kept out of government. They simply did not want government to have the power to order a religion. they wanted choice of religion left to the individual. Their choice of religion was Christianity. christianity.about.com No man can chose Islam as his religion and the Constitution of the US as his form of government. He must be a traitor to one of them.
