First of all, the data you refer to is 'adjusted' by biased scientists, I've shown you the e-mails to prove it. Second, how does persistence prove anything? The oceans are the Earth's thermostat and dampen any potential rapid variations in global temperatures. For example on the annual scale, why are June/July/August the 3 hottest months of the year? It's persistence of the signal. If 30-year cycles in the oceans are well-established as normal, then why wouldn't warm years cluster together? Throw in other higher-frequency cycles, and temperatures vary year-to-year, but the lowest-frequency are the most powerful.
