Animus of one unto another is an innate human condition. It isn’t caused by religion, society, political allegiance, or social authority of any kind. In fact, all those forms have at their core a directive to alleviate suffering and unite disparate kinds and ways … as such, helping human beings to rise above their natural inclinations, so as to be well and do well. Unfortunately the very act of belonging for some is enough justification for expressing hatred toward the other who is not a member of their kind. For you it is a hatred of religious and conservative folk just for being who they are. tsk
