No, it isn't. Because no one will ever pay anything close to that amount. It is, literally, the most inconsequential figure in all of healthcare.

Yet, you find it to be central. The article claims it to be the cause of the "huge" yet nonexistent number of medical bankruptcies (okay, you can trot out the Elizabeth Warren nonsense now).

It was alleged to be the problem Obamacare would solve, and it is still with us.
