BTW Joey you mischaracterized Scalia's position. Scalia does not dispute the right of individuals to keep and bear arms but he does believe that there can be narrow limitations on the right...consistent with over 200 years of similar jurisprudence which holds that no rights are absolute...even First Amendment rights. I think he also said that the 2nd Amendment would not apply to cannons, tanks, etc. Hand held weapons are clearly protected as he sees it.
