I talked with the local Time Warner man,all of Merritt Island is fiber optic,not sure if it is non-zero dispersion. But he knows nothing about cable modems for here,but I would think that it would just have to be conditioned upstream to handle 2-way. It is a large task,but could easily be done. LMDS would propably have too many problems with rain attenuation down here,and increased needs for more transmitters. I would not count on Bell South,they screwed up my bill last month,they called and apologized,and issued a full month's credit.
