I wouldn't be too worried if the SparQ unit were a breakeven sale for SYQT. It's the razor in the old saw about making money off the razor blades. $33 seems cheap for a 1-meg disk, but it's completely reasonable for someone to spend $1,000 on the disks after buying the $199 drive. Thus, the more important question is probably the margin on the disks.

Kind of like a CD player. You don't want to give one as a gift to someone you like, because it's the gift that keeps on taking.
