Everyone knows Cuba's health care sucks for most of the Cuban people

Of course the US healthcare system is much better... we don't have a third world economy.

But Cuba has the highest life expectancies in the region. The number of physicians and dentists per capita is among the highest in the world. Cuba has the lowest HIV prevalence in the Americas. Cuba provides more medical personnel to the developing world than all the G8 countries combined.

Considering their poor facilities, lack of equipment, and absence of drugs, this is rather remarkable.
