RE: Tie Ratio for SparQ?

At $33 each, that's 30 disks. Surely you don't consider that to be a reasonable tie ratio. Historically, SyQuest has seen tie ratios closer to 5:1. (I believe the latest milestones announced were 3 million drives and 14 million cartridges, which is slightly less than 5:1.) Typically, the tie ratio is higher for low-price, low-capacity removables (like the EZ line or Zip) and lower for the higher-price or higher-capacity removables (like SyJet, Jaz, or [I would assume] SparQ). I would be very surprised if they saw a tie ratio above 3-4:1.
If SyQuest could get higher tie ratios, that would be great. I don't see any reason to believe that they'll be any higher than for any other removable drive.
