Inode, I really wonder whether there is a hazard in electing someone with Trump's wealth. What sort of hazard are you referring to?
To me, Trump's wealth is only a liability in that he can be portrayed as "out of touch" with mainstream America and "part of the one-percent establishment." This is exactly the way Mitt Romney was portrayed, which was unfortunate given that I think Romney was a successful governor and a successful corporate executive.
Trump, on the other hand, is no Romney, IMO. Sure, the guy is worth about $10 billion, which is evidence that he is a successful investor and dealmaker, but I don't think he'd make a very good statesman, public servant, or politician.
Then of course, there is the obvious, which is that his presidential campaign is just a massive ego trip, one that, ironically, is being fueled by the very mainstream media who loves to despise him.
But hey, Trump is leading among all of the GOP candidates, which counts for something.
