<off topic> Windows 95 ? for anyone

I want to replace the failing C drive in a Win 95 computer. I have tried an xcopy from C to D but not all files are copied. I have also tried to copy files with Explorer and then SYS the drive. No luck. I think MY Computer and Desktop Settings don't get copied.

Any help would be appreciated.
P. S.
I have copied the CAB files and could run setup but don't want to go that route.
