Paul:

The following information from PC Week caught my attention:

" NEC Computer Systems Division, a group within the newly formed Packard Bell NEC, announced today the ProServa SH, a PC server that is
optimized to scale to four Pentium Pro processors. The new model supports 200MHz Pentium Pro processors with 512K bytes of Level 2 cache. The existing ProServa SH using 256K bytes of cache is optimized for two-processor scalability, said officials. "

I heard NT 4.0 would likely lead to servers featuring two pentium pros, but not four. How significant do you or others view this information for intc?

Best Regards,

Greg Gimelli
