Greek business exodus to 'safe haven' Bulgaria
news.yahoo.com

""Bulgaria gave me an opportunity to survive, which is difficult in Greece these days," Douvos told AFP among rows of olive oil bottles and stacks of halloumi cheese in his deli in downtown Sofia.
"It is almost impossible to run a business in Greece, companies disappear within one, two, three months because the taxes and (bank) rates are very high.""

"Greek enterprises invested 4.5 to 5 billion euros in six years in Bulgaria's economy," Krasen Stanchev of the Sofia-based Institute for Market Economics told AFP.

Meanwhile, between 50,000 and 60,000 Greeks opened accounts in Bulgarian banks over the same period, he added.

But despite images of queues outside banks in Greece, there was no massive transfer of capital to Bulgaria in 2015 because "the game was already over", Stanchev said.

Yeap!! Once you realize that your screwed... "The Game is Already Over".. TOO LATE!

The smart one's were the one's that opened those Bulgarian, or even better yet, Swiss Bank accounts years ago and moved their capital away from the tentacles of the Socialist Government of Greece. I am sure, at the time.. They had other Greeks saying..

"How can I be envious when I think you're just a loser for running off to somewhere I wouldn't THINK about going to?? Believe me, I have NO DOUBT I can protect my assets just fine right here... I think that is the difference, you somehow think someone will grab my money... I think that is insane! LOL"

Then they ended up being locked out of their banks a few years later... LOL!!

It's gonna' be fun to watch....
