larry......their are too many disk drive companys, making too many disk drives....i think down the road some company's will either merge or be forced out....they all know something has to happen but no one wants to make the first move...when someone does ,then we'll see higher stock prices immediatly within this group.....so larry i agree with your comments about takeovers, mergers or spin-off's.....larry i believe that were going to continue to see good growth in pc's,servers,mobile's,etc....the future holds very good growth because of new users,OS upgrades, replacemant of machines, windows NT and 98,DVD,internet,digital products[cameras],more bandwidth, new pentium products,etc.........also Europe[very big market, often under-estimated] is starting to UP tick....no matter what SEA problems their are this world will continue to move towards merging of computing and communications, replacing old machines, eliminating bottlenecks.....their products ARE NEEDED and some of these companies stock prices are ridiculously priced......larry do you follow VECO ???
