The Italian highway toll from the Swiss Border to Milan used to be 36,350 Lira - a little bit less than 10 Swiss Francs in 1983.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to give Italy a "time-out" from the Euro. It would give Italians a chance to reacquaint themselves with the double-digit inflation they all enjoyed before joining the Euro.

A nation of lazy, corrupt, lying, tax-cheats enjoying the filthy sidewalks of Milan covered in dog-poop in front of an Armani store decked out in chrome cladding.

The shabby Italian trains haven't run on time since the fall of Mussolini. Believe me, they'd benefit from a time-out, just as with any naughty child.
