Because, that's what you're demanding SHE be FORCED to do. She is the one who got herself pregnant, not me. I would raise another child, even at my age, to prevent its death. However, there are PLENTY of people willing to adopt (my niece, who is gay, has adopted and raised three children; I'm sure there are plenty of others in the same situation).
