I'm really not sure what they could be doing.

.....FIRST.....explain to me the rational behind the Rs giving up the Senate's treaty authority as outlined in the Constitution. The Rs had more than enough votes to block any bad treaty negotiated by Obama/Kerry.
They only needed 1/3. So they unilaterally give up their treaty authority and now need 2/3 plus 1 to stop it. In other words, IT CAN'T BE STOPPED.
....and PLEASE don't tell me Obama would just not call it a treaty. He does not get to define what a treaty is or not. If that were the case, he could UNILATERALLY negotiate ANYTHING with ANYBODY at ANYTIME. McConnell and the establishment Rs did this DELIBERATELY. Our founding fathers specifically wrote the treaty clause to guard against one man treaty definition. But they could not envision or guard against a scenario where the entire Congress is nothing but a sellout. We are finished.
