Yaacov - Re: "..could you read the part of the article the concerns INTC and give me your views."

Thanks - I read through 625 articles to find the one about Intel. Perhaps next time you could mention the TITLE of the article so I won't have to go on a scavenger hunt.

If it is the article about the effects of S.E. Asia, then my comment is that if Intel is effected - every business in the world will be effected.

If Intel's sales slump, they will curtail growth - probably implement layoffs. AMD, NSM, TI, Compaq, Dell, etc. and everybody else will be doing the same thing. The laid off people won't be able to affford new cars - GM, FORD and Chrysler will have sales declines - they will in turn lay off workers and shut down factories.

The laid off auto workers won't be buying new clothes - all the Gucci's and Sax and Macy's, etc., will lose business and lay off their employees.

This will ripple all the way down to the last fiber of the U.S. Economy.

Eventually, no one will be buying stocks - even at bargain basement prices - so all the over paid bozos on Wall Street will also get laid off. Then the analysts can predict the end of civilization since nobody will care what they analyze because nobody will have any money to buy anything.

Intel just happens to be a high profile company and is the first to get trashed. A major downturn , due to S.E. Asia's financial crisis, will leave no company, no person unscathed.

It will be a bloody nightmare for everyone.
