A description can be found on Omega Research's web site. I guess you can backtest any trading system and it analyzes the universe of option strategies to come up with the most profitable combo based on your parameters, such as underlying expectations of price movement, capital outlay, and misc market factors. You need a quote service also for either real time or end of day.
