>>I find RecordIt music is interupted by various activities such as opening applications, clicking the next post on SI Iomega thread, and even typing a post such as this one. I have not observed this problem while working in applications other that Netscape Communicator (i.e. Excel). I am using a Mac with OS 8. I would be interested to learn if this is also a problem on Windows 95. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to aleviate this problem, please post.<<

Brian -

Unlike music coming from your CD-ROM drive, music playing back from Recordit must be processed by your CPU. Anything which interrupts the processing will interrupt the flow of music.

I have not had this problem myself in Windows 95, but that may be due to differences in processor speed. I am running a 200MHz Pentium with MMX. My Micron notebook, which has a 166MHz Pentium MMX also doesn't have any problem handling Recordit playback along with other tasks.

I'm not sure what to suggest to alleviate the problem, but I do have a couple of questions. What type of processor are you running, and what speed does it run at? How much memory does your system have?
