Don't you find it puzzling that such a cutting edge company appears to have a less than optimally navigable site?

Somewhat. But I think there is a somewhat real division between DVD and streaming business units and they don't work together very well. If someone from high (CEO?) does not push for seamless integration, units usually don't integrate well. (I've been in large companies ;)).

For example, even in the old website if I added movie to DVD queue, it did not go into streaming automatically. They should have this option, since I really only want DVDs if there's no streaming for that movie. And they should update this automatically periodically. I think they had something like that for short time that worked half assedly but then dropped it.

Same thing in reverse: if I watch movie on DVD or on streaming, give me an option to delete it from both of my lists. Now if I watch something on streaming and remove it from my list, it stays in DVD queue. Sucks.

Another pet peeve regarding Netflix: if you don't rate the movie, there is no way to tell if you watched it. With my early onset senility :( ;), I don't remember all movies I watched anymore. Why not provide this info? ("Last watched 2 years ago"). This is not that much data to store really... And they probably store it, but they don't give it to the user.
