TO: ALL CVIA SHAREHOLDERS AND THREAD PARTICIPANTS!
Here is the latest update/progress report on " The 1161 Express Action Plan" as at 10:09 P.M. on Saturday December, 20, 1997.
Earlier today our CVIA Shareholder Count was 25 reported and acounted for! Now! The total has grown to " 37 ".
It appears that the CVIA Shareholders are interested in doing their part in assisting in a positive outcome to the potential merger process!
I would estimate that the " 37" CVIA shareholders reported and accounted for are almost an even split between CVIA thread participants that are S.I. members that post threads from time to time on this and other related CVIA threads, ---- and the CVIA shareholders that read and follow the CVIA and related threads, but currently cannot make postings , because they are currently not S.I. members!
A side note of interest, of the many e-mails that I have received since last night from non S.I. members, most have been very complimentary about the sensible, interesting contributions, made by many of the CVIA thread participants! ( Well Done! You should all be proud of yourselves and your efforts!)
I imagine by now , most or all of you that have e-mailed your CVIA information to CVIA, will have received some information that if you so choose can send via fax back to CVIA!
Some CVIA shareholders have expressed to me, some questions, as it relates to the "Consent Form" they have received and some of the possible ramifications!
I am not in a postion to make any comments about any legal questions regarding the "Consent Form", I do not have a legal background, nor will I pretend to know or comment on any legal related topics regarding CVIA!
However! I do plan on asking some questions of CVIA Management, and I will share any findings that come as a result of my inquiries.
Personally, in my own opinion, I plan on completing the shareholder " Consent Form", the way I see it , there will always be some new questions coming forward regarding the CVIA merger efforts!
My personal objective as a CVIA Shareholder right from the start has been to see a swift and a "best efforts" business merger take place , with a minimum of expense , to CVIA and it's shareholders!
Whenever I start getting concerned about whether there will be a share rollback, share consolidation, a reverse split, or whatever other possible scenario, I try to remind myself that Jack Arnold, like ourselves is also a shareholder, and I would imagine that he also would like to see the most favourable outcome ( financially) for the shareholders of CVIA! ( But! Just my own opinion! I've been fooled in life before!).
My focus has been to do what ever I can do as a shareholder , to move the process forward as quickly , and in a financial manner that is favourable to all shareholders!
I think as a group of CVIA shareholders on this thread, and the rest of the CVIA shareholders that we now know are supporting us , and reading and following our CVIA thread,----we have come a very long way in a relatively short period of time! ( Remember it was only a few short months ago, that it appeared that the CVIA scenario appeared to be coming to an disasterous ending!)
I feel that the major single reason that CVIA still has a chance to be a candidate for a turn a round company, rest solely on the shoulders of Mr. Jack Arnold! ( I know at times this may sound like a broken record, but I for one like the "tune!")
The way I see it , is quite simple, if Jack Arnold had thrown in the towel, after the previous management headed for the "hills", this investment would have had a less than happy ending!
I feel the "Jury" is still out, on what the final outcome will be, and yes still the possability of great risk involved! ( As in all investments!-Just my own opinion!)
Right! Now! Jack Arnold in my opinion is the only game in town ) So I am going to take the speculative risk and trust that he will do the "right thing" for all the shareholders! ( Let me reinforce that I am taking a major risk in doing so!--And once again just my opinion!)
If any one has any input that they would like to share, regarding the Shareholder Consent Form, this is the best place to get some "Honest" feedback and opinions, and possible suggestions and recommendations! ( We have got, I believe a very supportive group of one another on this CVIA thread! We might as well put it to good use!)
In closing! Do your own due diligence! Make your own investment decisions! You all worked very hard for your money! Make sure it is your decision that dictates what you do with your investment dollars!
I know it sounds repetetive, but it's my guess/hunch that over the next 3+ months, it is possible that CVIA shareholders will have several decisions to make regarding their investment and shareholdings in CVIA! ( And investment decisions can be good, bad, or neutral, in my opinion! Here is wishing only "Good" decisions!)
Best Regards,
