Seriously. But can't you see this is the Tower all over? I saw it
right off. Interesting. WHere all of the people of the earth can now speak in one language--the interchange of language will be here before we know it.

I have a whole set of research on Black Elk few people have followed up on. There are a couple of newer books, but in checking out the bibliographies to see if there was anything recent I was missing I found his daughters biography of him. Lucy Looks Twice.
I'll tell you more detail when I can actually quote stuff. Otherwise it kind of sounds like I make this stuff up as I go.

He died extremely CHristian, very much a follower of Jesus CHrist, and very Catholic. He was a catholic layman, giving beautiful little services in Sioux dialect, and probably the Lord loved his services. EVen toward the end Lucy said word would be sent to him someone was sick and he would get out in the rain on the old horse and go as far as he had to to pray over them in the name of Jesus.

It was very gratifying to me personally to find that book. On the night he died, about a week before he had said to John Lone Goose, a super Christian friend and indian brother who lived quite a while longer after Black Elk died, he said something very much like, "you watch the sky. I think God is going to do something to show you, maybe he will make a sign". It was something like that. I zeroxed it of course. Well, that night during the wake I guess there was a fantasmagoria of beauty in the Dakota sky, so much so that it must be recorded as a freak meteor shower. I think that was the explanation given for the happening in the sky.

Anyway, 2 catholic priests went to the wake and they recorded the experience in great detail. There was a lot of meteor movement in the sky. So much so that the priest was talking about the stars in term of "they". He wrote "they seemed to go out and then come back into the center and then out again, and they'd go up and then come back...." It sounded NUTS. Then I started thinking, and got out the horse dance. And that was it. It was the horse vision.

God put on the horse vision in the sky. That was the sign.

Read Ezek. Chap. 6 in the King James only. Only King James.

I can only believe it because I am personally sure it happened. Otherwise the whole thing is off the Reichter scale.

Sweet dreams all.
