There's a lot of focus on the lion killer. The details are disgusting. He shot the lion with a bow and arrow, which didn't kill him. It took 40 hours to find him and then shoot him while he lay wounded. The he proceeded to cut off his head, which is when they discovered the tracking collar. Do you think that maybe he would stop decapitating the lion when they discovered the collar? Nope. Cut his head off, skinned him and left the remains for the vultures.

Didn't kill him for the meat. He killed him for fun and it cost him $55,000 to do it.

So there's money to be made from killing lions and babies for parts.
