We are past the tipping point.

It will take the reality and images of tragic consequences to make real change.

We are talking generations here, huge ecological costs and tragedy -- and a long long atmospheric recovery.

Someday we will be judged as greedy selfish assholes, not unlike the Tobacco Executives of the last generation.

But when the light gets turned on, it will be late but not the end IMHO, the survivors will then do the right thing.
Human history has no shortage of stupid.
