"So you are talking 200 to 300 years before the sea level rise will be enough to convince a skeptic?"

Nope. "Skeptics" will never be convinced. We are talking 200-300 days to marginalize them.

"Do you know what the rise in sea level is projected to be this century and next century"
3-10 feet this century; maybe more.

"Is it rising faster or slower now than it did 2,000 years ago?"
2000 years ago, it wasn't rising.

  • Stable sea level from 200 BC until 1000 AD
  • A 400-year rise by about 6 cm per century up to 1400 AD
  • Another stable period from 1400 AD up to the late 19th C
  • A rapid rise by about 20 cm since.
