that image will never hopefully leave my mind...thanks for all
the information..I feel I have a network of very bright friends who
help me learn what is really going on. I read the newspapers less and
less because I hate being out of touch with what is really happening and I tend to be gullible since I believe most people are honest..(Each person lives in their own world and projects their own psyches onto it..I can't imagine the world of a liar..must be
a total nightmare..who knows..)
I cannot believe that people are still using the POG as an indicator
of inflation...I keep on hearing that from the news media that since
gold is down there is no inflation. Does the average person believe
that? If so..we are a nation of monkeys but not as cute.. :>
all the states are getting into the act now I think of get backs
because of their taxes...first they are getting rid of welfare
ie. NY where people are now immune to see all the people sleeping out
on these cold nights..and trying to get companies to come back with
incentives...what will New Jersey do next? It appears to be musical
states....first NJ offers lower taxes for companies to go there and
the neighbor,ie New York loses businesses..now New York cuts welfare
roles, watch companies will start leaving New Jersey. It seems the
rotation in everything is happening before our eyes.
I forgot what I heard about catalog sales but I think after a certain
date, the consumer will have to pay sales tax. Again in NY since so
many go to New Jersey to buy clothes, there will probably be a repeal
of taxes on clothing under $500...they have had two trial periods
so far. It would seem that our economy would do so very much better
if they got rid of all taxes on items under $500...that would create
a lot more jobs..
I never knew that about pensions..wonder if that can happen to government pensions?..I think the country would be run a lot better
if government pensions and health benefits were based on the average
pension fund in the USA and health benefits with the average..so
goes the nation,so goes the politicians! If that is the case about
pensions, none of the baby boomers will have anything to fear..They
will be the majority and they will be able to vote in anything. Or is
that offthewall?
