I think they want to run against Bernie Sanders. They underestimate him as a formidable opponent, though Sanders would not be able to raise .0001 of the corporate money Bush will have.

I think the bipartisan success of rightwing target Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown has shown a pragmatic non-party machine populist can govern very successfully.
