Hi Steve:
I bought Roper about 18 months ago based initially on information I found in a column in Forbes. Since then, the stock split and ran up quite nicely.

Just in the past few weeks, Roper's stock has dropped quite a bit. Any thoughts or reasoning on this? I'm still very much in the plus column and am considering buying more at these levels. What I like most about Roper is that although it is a boring stock as you mentioned, they dominate their industry and nobody else had the capital or desire to get into it. Plus boring is nice these days.

Best of luck to you. Let me know if you have any thoughts as to the recent drop and the nearterm future of this company.

Regards,

Chip
