Also had to chkdsk all my partitions after the upgrade. all looks good so far.
Currently I have 4 SSDs with individual installations for Win7--8.0--8.1--10 for my new build.

I've also made Acronis Images of the new SSDs from another computer with Win7 Ultimate-64.

Unexpectedly however when I connect the 8.0--8.1--10 SSDs to the Win7 Ultimate-64 machine, "chkdsk" begins at boot-up to scan these SSDs. This does not happen with the new Win7 SSD.

"chkdsk" runs successfully and doesn't find any errors, but I don't understand why my Win7 computer is doing this for the SSDs with 8.0--8.1--10 installations.

Did Windows make some change starting with 8.0?
