jbal,

Where in the world did you get the $400,000 figure that Ford was going to spend testing the Rand Cam pump? I only recall that Ford had budget for it (no amount was stated) and that a Reg engineer by the name of Paul Lamarche was going to do the testing. I don't remember anyone working for Reg by the name of Lamarche. I thought Pat Badgley was the only engineer on board. I suppose with a budget that size, Reg could afford to hire another engineer or two.

If you are correct that $400,000 was to be spent on the test, some test results should be coming out pretty soon. Reg said they have already run tests on the pump and they were on the positive side.
Although I'm sure the pump has to be redesigned to Ford's specifications and that alone will take 6 months to a year. Don't what to go to fast if Ford has budgeted such a large amount of money for Reg to test it.

John
