After speaking to my MS Certified son, who is well into his (and his company's) use of Windows 10, I went for it yesterday for both of my computers. This morning, on the laptop only, I got the big blue box telling me my download was ready. Going for it, the next box offered the next step which essentially was "1. go for it, 2. a 10 second check of your machine, 3. Schedule the update.

That was nearly one hour ago while I've watched the dots circle on the screen.... nothing else. Task manager shows Windows 10 download running but there is almost NO cpu usage. It ranges from rare 2% down to 0%. This suggests to me that I'm stuck in a never ending loop.

What to do????

I won't go for this on my desktop until I see what the resolution is for the laptop. Is this "normal"?
