The fact that Win98 can be made without IE will not be lost on the Judge. The fact that Microsoft can not bundle as long as there is court action under way makes this a short trial. Long is bad for MSFT - you can not put out Win98.

How about this: Sun once wanted to buy Apple. It is even more ideal now. Both systems run on the same version of UNIX (Rhapsody and Solaris are both based on same version). If Apple is bought, then Jobs can go back to Pixar and we have a reasonable CEO. Other possible future mergers are Oracle and Netscape but both have CEOs that will not leave. Even more ideal, and a better fit, would be IBM buying Apple (they have no OS) but it won't happen. What do you think?
