Merrill Lynch has had a 3-2 rating (neutral short term - ok to buy long term) on Qualcomm for over two or three years. Most likely, they follow the stock only to participate in QCOM's equity and debt underwritings for clients. Their comments have tended to be neutral and cautious, consistent with their opinion. I think the stock is a strong buy. Dennis
