Here's a major beef I have with my local TV (Denver area) that has nothing to do with commercials. Our evening newscasts are all the same when it comes to reporting the weather. During a 30 minute newscast we get a weather report about every 7 or 8 minutes. I think they use these just as filler, since the news itself can't fill the time slot. So, the reporter stands in front of the map and proceeds to tell us what we can easily see are temps for every blessed town on the map. Next, we get the forecast for tomorrow. Once again, temps are read for nearly all the towns in view, with the reporter darting from left to right and back again. Of course, all this is interspersed with those commercials we've already blasted here.

Is your local newscast this generous with its weather reporting? Maybe it's just me.....
