CO, let me put it this way.

Customers don't give a damn about how many jobs they are "creating." All they care about is finding a good deal.

If the company that offers a better deal happens to employ fewer Americans and more Chinese, for example, then the customers are essentially "destroying" American jobs.

That's one of many reasons why it's stupid to say that customers "create" jobs. Might as well dump money out of helicopters and "create" more customers, which will then "create" more jobs, lolololol ...

No, what creates jobs is the free market. The productive and the innovative businesses get rewarded, and they will be entrusted with the investment dollars to do more. In that process, jobs get created.

Hinder that process with regulation and unintended consequences, and watch as jobs get destroyed. It's as easy as that.
