I am a moral person. The fictional thing that you value was perhaps the most immoral thing in all the history of tribal fiction. Valuing rape, genocide, infanticide, slavery, and racism is nothing to be proud of. You should be disgusted to extoll such qualities—even in a fictional thing. What is the matter with you? Something wrong with your chromosomes??

Sin is an invention out of a silly creation myth. It does not exist. Morality is a legitimate concept which regards how we treat one another. All humans consider this within the context of what is helpful and what is hurtful (moral or immoral). A common biological make-up and common needs makes "helpful" and "hurtful" generally objective evaluations--although culture (and especially the superstitions of religion) lend a subjective variability to what we term morality. None of this has anything to do with talking snakes or magic trees, however! ;-)
