Fracking is a form of enhanced drilling. Saudi Arabia can lower their prices and make more difficult recoveries of oil too expensive. However in doing that the consumer gets a lower price at the pumps etc.
Fracking .....yes it is but not developed till about 2003....... but my point was that although it has increased yields, there is still only a finite supply in the US and the world.......... The Saudi strategy is to keep the tar sands oil off the market thereby increasing purchases of their oil... I'm happy with the lower prices and with seeing Big Oil get it's ass kicked...
