Ron, FWIW, from Bemer's website bmrsoftware.com We must have national direction! I can say this with total sincerity, while still believing in minimal Government. Correct data is vital to our wellbeing. In our haste to fix this problem we should not introduce new problems with data that does not interchange correctly. So is there another Churchill in view? Someone has to be in direct and sole charge, without any other assignments to worry about. The name I have heard proffered is Mikhail Gorbachev. Sounds good to me. He doesn't owe us much, and can't be bribed. We may not be able to settle on any single U. S. citizen, and with him we would not have to make any choices. Besides, Russia is where they originated Czars! Which is what we need now. Think of the worldwide prestige that would accrue to President Clinton if he were to make that nomination.
