| Billions of lives have been saved as a result of Sanger's humanitarian efforts and the acceptance and use of contraceptives. Billions of lives would otherwise have been wasted in poverty, despair, disease, and hopelessness. No doubt, we could make up a billion just in considering the mothers and fathers who lived productive, useful, and happy lives as a result of the legality and the availability of contraception...without even considering all the unwanted children that would have lived short and miserable lives in disease and overcrowding and lack of food and other necessities. Obviously, "billions" is not an exact figure, so stop being a jackass... |
