It is not precognition, my boy. It is simple logic. That is why you are struggling so hard.
Unwanted pregnancies (especially among the poor and disadvantaged who have minimal resources), creates overcrowding and a thick undergrowth of struggling humanity rife with starvation, disease, poverty, criminality, prison, suffering, illness, and often early death.
Every child should be a wanted child. Every child should be loved. Every child should be planned. Every child should enter the world with sufficient parental and social resources to give her a life of hope and the prospect of value and happiness.
Humans are not insects. We do not lay thousands of eggs and leave Nature to sort out the lucky few who will survive the lack of parental care. There is a scientifically observed relationship between fecundity and parental care. And human babies, Bubba--human babies NEED parental care. |
